About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Billing Engineer with strong exposure to Real Estate and Construction Projects. The candidate will be responsible for handling complete billing activities from project initiation to final handover.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in quantity surveying, contractor billing, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, cost estimation, and project coordination. Candidates who have independently managed projects from start to finish will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complete billing activities for residential/commercial real estate projects.
- Preparation, verification, and certification of Contractor Bills, RA Bills, and Final Bills.
- Quantity take-off and quantity verification as per drawings and site execution.
- Preparation of BOQ, rate analysis, and cost estimation.
- Verification of subcontractor/vendor bills and executed work quantities.
- Material reconciliation and project cost monitoring.
- Preparation of variation statements and extra item claims.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, Contractors, and Vendors.
- Maintain billing records, measurements, MIS reports, and project documentation.
- Ensure timely submission of bills and payment follow-up.
- Support tendering and commercial documentation activities when required.
- Monitor project progress with practical understanding of site execution and construction activities.
Qualifications
- B. Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates from Real Estate / Construction background will be preferred.
- Experience in residential, commercial, high-rise, or mixed-use projects.
- Must have handled projects from excavation to finishing and handover stage.
- Practical site exposure with strong billing and commercial understanding.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of Billing Engineering and Quantity Surveying.
- Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP/Billing Software.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage billing activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Good commercial and cost-control understanding.
